Agra / Jaipur / Khajuraho & Varanasi

  Duration : 12 Days
  Destinations covered : Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Jhansi, Orchha, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Delhi / Kathmandu.

  DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
  Arrive Delhi in the evening. Upon arrival, you shall met & assisted with your baggages at the airport by our executive and transferred to   prebooked Hotel.
  New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Mughals respectively. So, wherever the visitor goes, he will   invariably confront the city’s past.

  DAY 2: DELHI SIGHTSEEING
  After breakfast, half day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. drive past Red Fort,; Chandni Chowk and   Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.
  Afternoon, city tour of New Delhi Visit Humayuns Tomb: Qutub Minar, drive past India Gate, President House, Connaught Place. The   tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple.Overnight at  Hotel.

  DAY 3: DELHI - JAIPUR (269 KMS / 5 HRS)
  Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur.On arrival at Jaipur, check into the hotel.in the afternoon city sightseeing covering City Palace,   Royal Observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli, in the evening visit the local colorful Bazaar etc. O/N stay at hotel.

  DAY 4: JAIPUR
  This morning after breakfast, In the afternoon, visit the "pink city" so-called because a great deal of the older part is built of pink-   colored stone. Visit the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), a high and intricately carved wall behind which women of the court were   sequestered while watching processions. Also see the Observatory and the City Palace, which houses an excellent collection of   Rajasthani costumes, miniatures and an armory of Rajput weapons. Enjoy lunch at Local Rajasthani Restaurant and see the largest   turban museum in Rajasthan. Enjoy dinner in the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
  DAY 5: JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA
   After breakfast, leave for Agra, enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri: built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, Jama Masjid,   Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal. Continue drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival,  check-in at prebooked hotel.
  DAY 6: AGRA - DELHI
  After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, Itmad-ud-daulah, - The Taj Mahal, which was   constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
  Afternoon, leave for Delhi enroute visit Sikandra - Mughal Emperor Akbar's Mausoleum. Continue drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and   check-in at prebooked hotel.

  DAY 7: AGRA - JHANSI - ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO
  After breakfast, proceed your journey to khajuraho , enroute visiting Orchha which is a medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with   palaces & temples of the 16th & 17th century – which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time. The city is picturesquely   flanked by the river Betwa. Visit of the surrounding fortress & local Ram Raja temple. after lunch, continue drive to Khajuraho, upon   arrival, check in at hotel & overnight stay.

  DAY 8: KHAJURAHO
  After brekfast, visit Khajuraho, built by the warrior Chandela dynasty ,Visit the eastern & western group of temples   famous for their erotic scultpures. Evening at leisure and overnight stay.

  DAY 9: KHAJURAHO - VARANASI
  Aftter breakfast proceed for your journey to Varanasi approx. 8 hours drive. In evening check-in to hotel at Varanasi. Evening at leisure   and overnight stay.Varanasi was formerly known as Kashi – the city that illuminates. The religious capital of Hinduism.

  DAY 10: VARANASI
   After breakfast, excursion to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the   Buddhist temple & the museum (closed on Friday). At the museum is the Ashok Pillar with its four guardian lions, Evening at leisure &   overnight stay.
  DAY 11: VARANASI
  Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Return to hotel for breakfast.   After breakfast, city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas   Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & the mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Afternoon, excursion to   Ramnagar. Return by boat in the evening, enroute witness the religious ceremonies along the banks of river Ganges. Overnight stay   at hotel.
  DAY 12 : VARANASI - DELHI (FLIGHT)
  Morning, free for individual activities. Afternoon, transfer to the airport to board flight scheduled to depart to Delhi for your onwards   journey.
